Problem

Wesfarmers wanted to tap into new revenue opportunities using their existing assets. They saw a chance to work with pharmaceutical companies but weren’t sure how to build the right service or if it would meet the market’s needs.

Approach

· Researched the pharmaceutical industry to understand key gaps and unmet needs.

· Designed a service model that leveraged Wesfarmers’ unique assets to solve these problems.

· Defined riskiest assumptions and series of small tests to validate the service model before launching.

Outcomes

· Mapped out over $5M in incremental revenue from new service offerings.

· Built a testable plan so they could be confident before moving into a beta launch.
